About Us

Dr. Shern attended the University of Idaho as an undergraduate, then studied at Washington University in St. Louis where he received his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine). 

He served in the US Army Dental Corps from 1989-1994, completing a one-year general practice residency and tours in Germany and South Carolina.  Dr. Shern has been practicing in Spokane since 1994. 

Dr. Shern is an active, participating member in the following professional organizations: 

• American Dental Association 
• Fellow, Academy of General Dentistry 
• Washington State Dental Association 
• Spokane District Dental Society 
• Frank M. Spear Dental Study Group 
• Practice Management Study Club 

Outside of work, Dr. Shern enjoys spending time with his family. They enjoy visiting with friends and family and traveling when they have the opportunity.
